Training in the field of accreditation of certification bodies for certification of product in the field of organic production was held
GeneralNoticesSeminarsDuring the last week, a two-day training in the field of accreditation of certification bodies for the certification of products in the field of organic production was held on the premises of ATS. The training was primarily related to the new regulation EU 848/2018 and accompanying acts. The training was given by colleagues Vera Apostolović, a graduate in agricultural engineering, and Olga Kešelj Milovanović, a graduate in agricultural engineering, employees of ATS. Among those present were colleagues from the Accreditation Body of Montenegro.
Topics that were covered:
- legal framework of the Republic of Serbia, certification in the field of organic production by the regulations of the Republic of Serbia and the legal framework of the European Union;
- familiarization with changes to EU regulation 2018/848 and its accompanying acts that are applied in countries outside the EU: production and labeling; control; export;
- control and certification of the group of producers by EU regulation 2018/848;
- retroactive recognition of the conversion period;
- accreditation procedure of certification bodies for product certification in the field of organic production;
- relevant documents - EA-3/12M:2022 - EA Policy for the Accreditation of Organic Production Certification and ATS-UP 26;
- requirements for TA and TE competence and requirements for CB accreditation in the EU;
- the accreditation process for CBs that perform the control and certification process in countries outside the EU;
