Call for assessors
NoticesATS informs interested experts that there is a need to hire technical experts for the assessment of calibration laboratories and testing laboratories
Potential candidates for experts must meet, among other, the following general criteria:
-In studies in the amount of at least 240 ECTS credits, according to the regulation governing higher education, starting from September 10, 2005;
-In the undergraduate studies lasting at least four years, according to the regulation governing higher education until September 10, 2005;
In the field of natural sciencies and mathematics or technical-technological sciencies.
WORK EXPERIENCE/ general: at least four years of work experience in a certain field that is the subject of accreditation, of which not less than two years for a certain field of calibration/testing acquired in a period not longer than five years in relation to the date of application.
ADDITIONALLY:
For calibration areas:
-Knowledge of calibration methods and techniques for the area/s for which the application is performed and appropriate training for work with a certain technique/methods/ for work on calibration equipment;
-Knowledge of the measurement uncertainity for the reported calibration area (s);
-Knowledge of domestic and international standards and regulations related to the reported areas of calibration;
For the areas of testing:
-Appropriate training for work with certain technique/methods/for work on sampling and/ or testing equipment;
-Possession of practical knowledge and knowledge of the procedure: preparation of samples, performance of tests, processing of results, tests, statistical data processing during validation/verification of methods and evaluation of measurement uncertainty;
-ability to analyze the results obtained and eligibility criteria in relevant testings including PT/interlaboratory comparisons and repeated measurements;
-Knowledge of domestic and international standards and regulations related to the reported areas of testing.
Areas of calibration of interest are: acoustics and ultrasound, dimensions; electrical engineering, DC and LF and HF respectively; flow; force; hardness; humidity; mass; pressure; temperature; time and frequency; volume.
Testing areas are: testing of construction products and materials; non-destructive testing; testing of electrical and electronic products; testing of pressure equipment; waste testing; land; waste gas, etc.
Potential candidates for experts must meet, among other things, general criteria that include appropriate education, work experience and additional knowldege of methods and techniques, including knowledge of domestic and international standards and regulations related to the reported areas of calibration or testing.

Based on the received applications, the ATS Commission for the selection and monitoring of the performance of assessors and technical experts will select candidaates and all other activities prescribed by the ATS-PR02 procedure (training, seminar, informative interview, etc.).
