A meeting in Valjevo - Regional Office of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce

Boards of the Association for Energy and Mining, Black and Coloured Metallurgy, Metal and Electro Industry and Association for Chemical, Wood, Textile & Leather Industry and Graphics held a meeting on 27th November 2015 at the premises of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Valjevo when the agenda included the item related to the upgrade of the Quality Infrastructure and Product Safety System – as a condition to be met in order to increase the level of competitiveness of the Serbian industry.
Representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) and Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) gave lectures on the above-mentioned subject and discussed with the present businessmen the importance of technical legislation and quality infrastructure to the marketing of safe and quality products on our market and their impact on the increase of the level of competitiveness of the Serbian products.
Radivoje Nikoličić, ATS Assistant Director of Development and Quality, gave a Presentation on the Importance and Role of Accreditation and Accreditation Body of Serbia as an element of the Serbian Quality Infrastructure System.
