Annual National Conference JUSK – first announcement

On Wednesday, 8th June 2011, The Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) will participate in the 38th annual JUSK conference entitled “On the Road to Integrated Systems” (www.jusk.org) as part of the third special conference entitled “National Accreditation System – Current Prospects and Future Developments”. It will take place at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, 16 Kraljica Marija Street (the exact date of the conference will be determined at a later date).

The Conference will be organised as a workshop and it will last for 180 minutes. The workshop topic will relate to the requirements of the reference accreditation standards (SRPS ISO/IEC 17025, SRPS ISO/IEC 17020, SRPS ISO 15189, SRPS EN 45011, and SRPS ISO/IEC 17021), mandatory EA, ILAC and IAF guides and requirements of the rules of the Accreditation Body of Serbia that need additional interpretation, stands, etc.

During the first part of the Conference Dejan Krnjaić PhD, ATS Director, will give a lecture on the subject of “Novelties at the ATS, Europe and Serbia in 2020/2011” , while Biljana Tomić will give a lecture on the subject of “New Legal Framework”.

The later part of the Conference will be in the form of a workshop involving presentations to and interactive contact with the delegates. During previous years the ATS identified a number of requirements of reference documents the implementation of which raised doubts and created problems to accredited conformity assessment bodies.

In order to be able to prepare this workshop in the most efficient manner we hereby ask accredited conformity assessment bodies to send us, by 20.05.2011 at the latest, the queries they wish us to discuss to the following e-mail address: natalija.jovicic_zaric@ats.rs.
