were held within the EU funded Project entitled “Technical Assistance to Quality Infrastructure Institutions in the Republic of Serbia”
Chistors Mitsas PhD, assessor of the Greek accreditation body, ESYD, gave lectures during the training session for technical assessors of the Accreditation Board of Serbia in the field of testing and calibration laboratories pertaining to the mode of assessment of requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 in relation to the provision of quality of testing/calibration results by using the participation in inter-laboratory comparisons and PT schemes. Assessment of results of laboratory participation in comparisons and relevant schemes is an important and inevitable element of assessment of testing and calibration laboratories.
Training for the ATS employees in requirements of ISO/IEC 17043, Conformity assessment – General requirements for proficiency testing, was delivered. Accreditation of providers is part of the project for the extension of the ATS activities for 2010.
During this period a seminar on the subject of requirements of SRPS EN/TS 15675, Air quality – Measurements of stationary source emissions – Application of EN ISO IEC 17025 to periodic measurements, was organised and it was attended by representatives of accredited testing laboratories in the field of air quality. Each laboratory is a potential candidate for accreditation as per this technical specification.
This specification was the topic of the training for ATS technical assessors in the field of air quality where the lecturer was Dr Vagelis Bakeas, assessor of the Greek accreditation body, ESYD.
