Cooperation Agreements in the field of accreditation
Cooperation13th February 2008 Accreditation Institute of the Republic Macedonia (IARM) successfully implemented the training for assessors to meet the needs of laboratories, certification bodies and inspection bodies in the period between 11th February and 15th February 2008.
The said training was delivered in cooperation with the Accreditation Board of Serbia (ATS) and Accreditation Board of Montenegro (ATCG) in keeping with the Agreement on the Cooperation in the field of accreditation signed between these accreditation boards.
At the invitation of the IARM Vida Živković, MSc, and Natalija Jovičić Zarić, MSc, from the ATS gave lectures in the part of the course relating to the training of testing and calibration laboratory assessors following the ISO/IEC 17025.
This part of the course covered the following topics: accreditation and assessment process; management requirements; technical requirements (traceability of measurement, assessment of measurement uncertainty, reference standards, reference materials and ensuring quality of test and calibration results) and different aspects of assessment.
During the course three practical exercises were done to show possible assessment risks, and possible methods for the management and solving thereof during an assessment process.
