ATS was awarded plaque by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering
GeneralNoticesDuring the official session of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Council at the University of Belgrade, on the occasion of Faculty's Day, ATS was honored with a plaque in recognition of its philanthropy, contribution to the development of the faculty, and successful collaboration. The director of ATS, MSc Dragan Pushara, had the honor and pleasure of receiving this significant award for the institution he leads.
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering has always been attentive to the needs of the industry, which is its natural environment – educational, scientific, and business. Collaboration with the industry and other institutions remains one of the top priorities of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, as highlighted during this celebratory session. In honor of the Faculty's Day, plaques and acknowledgments were presented to individuals and companies who, through their philanthropy, trust, and cooperation on projects in the past year, contributed the most to the development and promotion of the faculty.
Professor Dragan Milković, the President of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Council, opened this gathering, attended by numerous dignitaries, and on that occasion, he said: "This year, we are very proud because we are celebrating two anniversaries - 75 years of an independent Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and 150 years since the introduction of the science of machines in higher education in the field of mechanical engineering in Serbia. This is the first in a series of Council sessions with which the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering will celebrate its anniversary, symbolically thank partners and friends of the faculty, present the best students, award the 'Golden Diplomas' to engineers who graduated more than 50 years ago, and bid a fond farewell to colleagues who are retiring."
The guests of this ceremony were also greeted by Professor Dr. Vladimir Popović, the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, who emphasized that collaboration with the industry has been the fundamental motto and hallmark of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering since its establishment.
Professor Dragoslava Stojiljković, PhD, the Dean for Scientific Research at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, addressed the audience and emphasized the importance of scientific research as a significant segment of the faculty's work.
