Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) has recently published two new technical specifications from the SRPS ISO/IEC TS 17021 series, Conformity Assessment- Requirements for bodies performing verification and Certification of management systems – Part 11 and Part 13.
Both technical specifications are bilingual, in Serbian and English. Part 11 includes additional requirements for the competence of personnel participating in the verification and certification process of management systems for facilities management (FM). In contrast, part 13 relates to the requirements for the competence of personnel for verification and certification of compliance management systems (CMS). They supplement the existing requirements for competence, consistency, and impartiality of bodies that perform verification and certification of all types of management systems, from the SRPS ISO/IEC 17021-1 standard published in 2015.
Two more documents from the same series, technical specifications – SRPS ISO/IEC TS 17021-12 and SRPS ISO/IEC TS 17021-14 are currently in the project phase. Part 12 provides the competency requirements for the audit and certification process of collaborative business relationship management systems (CBRMS), and Part 14 contains the competency requirements for the audit and certification processes of the management systems for records (MSR). Their acceptance is expected on January 1, 2024.
ISS NTC KS CASCO is responsible for developing national standards in this field.
In July, the standard SRPS EN ISO 6009:2017, Hypodermal needles for single use – Colour coding for identification, was published in Serbian. This standard specifies colour coding for the identification of single-use hypodermic needles with a nominal outer diameter ranging from 0,18 mm to 3,4 mm.
Each standard has its own life cycle, after which it is confirmed, withdrawn, or is replaced by a new standard edition. That’s why it’s important that all users who follow the standards are up to date so that they can do business in accordance with them.
