Competence of the ATS Acting Director and top management confirmed
International activitiesThirty-fourth meeting of the European co-operation for Accreditation’s Multilateral Agreement Council (EA MAS) was held in Berlin in the period between 1st and 2nd October 2015.
HR and structural changes within ATS, that took place in the last 12 months, were discussed in order to confirm the ATS competence. The Multilateral Agreement Council (EA MAS) accepted, without any additional requests, these HR and structural changes and concluded that ATS was not obliged to send any additional information. The next regular peer evaluation is supposed to take place in 2017, i.e. 4 years after the previous peer evaluation as it had been planned.
This means that the ATS status, as an EA member and signatory to the EA MLA, will successfully be maintained, that it was fully accepted, and that ATS fulfilled all the defined criteria and requirements for the operation of accreditation bodies, especially those requirements for competence, impartiality and operational capacity.
Pursuant to the changed EA procedure entitled EA-1/19 A - Rules for Use of the EA Logo, ATS received the new certificate confirming the scope of the signed EA MLA for the following fields of accreditation: testing, calibration, certification of products, certification of persons, certification of management systems and inspection. The award of the new certificate does not imply that defined time frame for regular activities pertaining to the peer evaluation.
