Study tour to the National Metrology Institute of Austria

A study tour to the National Metrology Institute of Austria (Bundesamt für Eich - und Vermessungswesen, BEV) was organised in the period between 17.11.2014 and 21.11.2014 as part of the PTB project “Support of the Quality Infrastructure in Serbia”.

The training was delivered by National Metrology Institute of Germany (Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt, PTB) in cooperation with the Physico Techical Testing Service (PTP) that is part of BEV, while BEV hosted the study tour participants.

The training was attended by the employees of the Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals, DMDM (6), Ministry of Economy (1) and Accreditation Body of Serbia (2).

The training covered a study tour to a notified body BEV, presentations and discussions related to implementation of MID and NAWI directives, discussion about B, D, G and F modules, and a visit to laboratories (flow, mass, electrical quantities and taximeters).
