MoU signed between ATS and RENAR

Jasna Stojanović, ATS Acting Director, and Natalija Jovičić Zarić MSc, ATS Deputy Director, attended the conference that was organised by the Romanian Accreditation Association (RENAR) on 3^rd July 2014 to celebrate World Accreditation Day. This was the occasion to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between ATS and RENAR.

Jasna Stojanović signed the MoU on behalf of ATS, while Cătălina Viorica NEAGUE, RENAR Director General, signed the MoU on behalf of RENAR.

The purpose of this MoU is to ensure continuous cooperation between accreditation bodies and therefore harmonise performance of accreditation activities in the region. Furthermore, both accreditation bodies will actively participate in the development and upgrade of accreditation system in both countries.

In addition to ATS representatives, the conference was attended by Thomas Facklam, EA Chair, and representatives of the Hungarian Accreditation Board (NAT), Bulgarian Accreditation Service (BAS) and National Accreditation Centre of the Republic of Moldova (MOLDAC) when MoUs were signed between the said accreditation bodies and RENAR.
