Proposal for the Regulation on Portable Pressure Vessels

We hereby inform interested conformity assessment bodies (CABs) that the proposal for the Regulation on Portable Pressure Vessels was posted on the internet portal of the Directorate for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (www.utot.gov.rs) on 20^th November 2013.

Having in mind the importance of the said Regulation and novelties contained therein, we hereby invite all interested CABs to submit their suggestions to the Directorate for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods by 2^nd December 2013 at the latest.

Furthermore, we hereby inform all interested CABs that a public presentation of the proposal for the said Regulation will take place on 03.12.2013 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, Kraljice Marije 16, V floor, room 514, at 10 a.m., whereas the emphasis will be on the following items it governs:

- portable pressure vessels and requirements for designated CABs

- mode of checking and marking of containers of vehicles for the transporation of dangerous goods and requirements for designated CABs

- requirements for vehicles for the transporation of dangerous goods and requirements for designated CABs.

Moreover, all interested CABs should bear in mind that review of the proposal for the said Regulation during the public presentation require that proposals for the correction of specific provisions have to be submitted, preferably in writing.
