New Statute of the Accreditation Body of Serbia

Current events

At its meetings of 4th and 24th November 2011 the Management Board of the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) discussed the proposed Statute that is the paramount document of the Accreditation Body of Serbia. After the Management Board has adopted the Statute, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted, at its session of 8th December 2011, the said Statute on the basis of the approval given by the respective ministries following which it was gazetted in the Official Gazette of the RS No. 97/2011 of 21st December 2011.

At the fifth meeting of the Management Board a consent was given to the By-law on Internal Organisation and Functional Titles and Job Descriptions of the Accreditation Body of Serbia and a general act was adopted to define criteria for payroll accounts, remuneration rates, and other sources of the ATS employees’ income,  i.e. salary rates and ratios were determined for each of the positions.
 
At its 6th meeting the Management Board adopted the Work Programme containing the financial plan of the Accreditation Body of Serbia for 2012. Pursuant to Article 13 of the Law on Accreditation financial resources for the operation of the ATS are partially provided from the budget of the Republic of Serbia, while the amount of the said resources is determined, as laid down in Article 12 of the Decision of the Amendments to the Act on Establishment of the Accreditation Board of Serbia, in the ATS Annual Report that is adopted for each calendar year and that contains a financial plan. The Founder, i.e. Government of the Republic of Serbia, adopts the Work Programme and its amendments.
