Meeting with the Sectoral Committee members

On Wednesday, 1st June 2011 a meeting with the Sectoral Committee members was held at the premises of the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS). The said members will participate in the work of the Decision-making Committees as stipulated in the Rules of Accreditation and procedure entitled Decision-making and Granting Accreditation ATS-PR15.

Experts from different fields of conformity assessment that responded to the ATS public invitation for all interested parties were selected at the meeting of the Accreditation Council held on 31st March this year. The selected experts will, as members of the Accreditation Committee, have a task to review information from the files to be decided on, determine their completeness, value how clear, understandable and sufficient information is in order to be used as a basis to make decisions on accreditation. The said decisions will be made in line with the procedure on decision-making and granting accreditation.

The procedure entitled Decision-making and Granting Accreditation ATS-PR15 was presented at the meeting. The procedure described the steps and activities of the accreditation procedure performed by the ATS when making decisions on accreditation, including issuance of accreditation certificates, and Rules of Accreditation, and work methods of the Accreditation Committee. Dejan Krnjaić PhD, ATS Director, Natalija Jovičić Zarić MSc, ATS Deputy Director, and Bratislav Milošević PhD, ATS Assistant Director for Accreditation Affairs gave lectures on behalf of the ATS.
