ATS issued the first scope of accreditation in the field of point-of-care testing (POCT)
GeneralNoticesCurrent eventsCooperationOn July 20th, 2022 the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) made a decision to extend the scope of accreditation of the accredited conformity assessment body University Clinical Center, Center for Medical Bicohemistry (accreditation number: 03-001) for the point-of-care testing (POCT) according to the standard SRPS EN ISO 15189 and SRPS EN ISO 22870.
On this occasion, this CAB was issed a new scope of accreditation on August 1st, 2022, in the premises of ATS by MSc Dragan Pušara, ATS Acting Director, he ceremoniously handed over the certificate to prim. Sanja Stanković, PhD, director of the Center for Medical Biochemistry of the Clinical Center of Serbia.
Tatjana Vodnik, PhD, specialist in clinical chemistry, employed at the University Clinical Center, MSc Milica Jovčić, ATS assistant director for accreditation process and Jelena Stojanović, senior file manager of accreditation, attended this solemn event.
With this, the procedure of extending the activities of ATS to the work of point-of-care testing (POCT) according to the standard SRPS EN ISO 15189 and SRPS EN ISO 22870 was sucessfully implemented, and in accordance with the previously published information on the website of ATS https://www.ats.rs/sr/vesti/2022/02/prosirenje-oblasti-rada-ats-a-na-akreditaciju-medicinskih-laboratorija-prema-srps-en-iso-15189-i-srps-en-iso-22870-ispitivanje-uz-pacijenta-point-of-care-testing-poct.
