AMENDED RULES OF ACCREDITATION AND OTHER ATS RULES

We hereby inform conformity assessment bodies and all other interested parties that the following documents were amended in July 2017:

• ATS-PA01, Rules of accreditation,
• ATS-PA02, Rules for the participation in inter-laboratory comparisons and PT schemes,
• ATS-PA03, Rules for obtaining acceptable traceability of measurement,
• ATS-PA04, Rules for the use of accreditation symbol, reference to accreditation and ATS status as a signatory to EA MLA, ILAC MRA and IAF MLA,
• ATS-PA05, Rules of cross-frontier accreditation,
• ATS-PA06, Estimate of the uncertainty of measurement,
• ATS-UP01, List of documents containing requirements to be met by applicants for accreditation and accredited bodies,

In addition, in 2017 the following documents have been amended:

• ATS-PR02, Selection and performance monitoring of persons participating in accreditation process,
• ATS-PR16, Resolution of complaints and appeals,
• ATS-UP12, Guideline for formulation of scope of accreditation of certification bodies certifying management systems,
• ATS-UP25, Accreditation of sampling activities,

Whereas a new document has been adopted

• ATS-UP40, Guideline for accreditation of CABs conducting non-destructive testing, the application of which ATS will soon publish separate information.
